In California we need help the fight the crazy, liberal, sex-addicts that have taken over the Democrats. They have been successful pushing their sex-addict agenda into every phase of our community life. Example is AB 606, 50 and others.

Whooopeee! Whoever gets the job won't mean a thing to the average American This is an inside-the-beltway power struggle.

Over 51 percent of Americans could not name the president much less the name of the majority leader.

From a practical standpoint it means that whoever gets the job gets a larger office suite, larger staff, more money, more perks, a parking space closer to the Capitol entrance,his own private saloon, a longer limo, a higher pension and the ability to demand a higher price for his lobbying when he leaves office.

Being Maj/Min leader is as political a game as anything else---calling in chits, making pals over the long haul, not offending certain people's agendas and priorities. It's NOT entirely about pushing the Republican agenda through, because everyone in the caucus doesn't have the same agenda (i.e., Chris Shays).
