Plenty.
But I don't make a point of slitting my own throat; I'm pragmatic AND realistic enough to know we have to deal with what we have until things change.
And Shadegg dropped out on the second ballot, so it was a two man race on the second ballot.
Guess we'll agree to disagree.
Sounds to me he voted against the amendment attached to the full bill.
Pork in the budget?
Man there is a ship filled with full grown up pigs in this budget.
I work hard for the money I get for my family. I don't work so the gubmnt can take my earned income away from my family to purchase bridges to nowhere in Alaska for employment purposes. I don't care to work for able bodied folks regardless of where they come from. I am incensed at having to give way too much of my earned income for bull crap projects politicians deem worthy.
Less govt. is good govt. What happened to real republicans? Smaller govt is better govt. Lower taxes and less govt. intrusion.
Period. Dammit.
No problem. Just think its important to know all the facts before we make a final conclusion in our own minds. Boehner will probably be okay. Even though he isn't an amnesty or open borders Pubbie, from what one of his own constituents said about him on this thread, I'll proceed with caution.
Damn, I feel old. Adam Putnam was born in 1974. LOL
Time will tell. Let's see how he handles the job. That'll be the real test.
Let's see what he does in the next 90 days. Then we will know where he stands without any doubt. Either he supports obeying the law or he doesn't. This crap of making new laws to get around enforcing/obeying the old ones stink like a dead dog.

I think you will find he is a conservative, a reformer and does not take pork home to his district .

This is a good one.The importance of Shadegg's influence on the race.
I agree 100%.
McCain's endorsment of Shadegg was only because they are both from AZ. That was mentioned early this morning on Bennett's program by McCain.
I preferred Shadegg as well, but Boehner is fine too. Heck, between the three of them we totally outshined anything the other side has to offer.
I DO hope Boenher will make it a point to be on the various programs more than DeLay was on them.
I rather have it Blunt and to the point.
First up, Patriot Act.
This is one of the people who was wiretapped by a couple of minions of Jim McDermott(D-WA) in December of 1996. Apparently, to the Dems, winning elections is more heinous than knocking down skyscrapers. Here is a link to the Columbia Journalism Review detailing the case. http://www.cjr.org/issues/2003/1/privacy-halstuk.asp?printerfriendly=yes
You're right. The Patriot Act sunsets tomorrow.
Should I assume you used the word "ON" by mistake, or did you mean to impune the Contract WITH America by using the phrase as the party of the Rat?

That's one that will tell us whether he is a Constitutionalist like judge Alito or a socialist who believes in government having unlimited powers and controlling the people.
I'm praying he is a believer in the Constitution and restricting government powers.
