There is so much recent great news about Gov Jeb Bush during this, his last year in office. I think you could have a 24-hour news channel just devoted to what he does as governor in this state! I will post some links to other current news threads below.

And, as I have mentiong before on this forum, you can always keep up with FL news by reading Justin Sayfie's site, which is a drudgereport-like site focusing on Florida:

I was visited Florida about a month ago and I was impressed by the state. It seems like it's boom times in the Sunshine state.
I was never impressed by Jeb Bush until after my visit to Florida. It looks to me like Jeb did a great job for the state. If Jeb runs for President, he is getting my full support.

BTW, Gov Bush's birthday is coming up -- and, this birthday will be the last one he has in office as governor. Do you think his friends on FR should do something special for him this year on his birthday? Maybe freepmail me if you have a suggestion. We'll keep any birthday surprise a secret. (Well, sort of.) :)

Originally, I didn't care for either of the Bush presidents. Our current showed his stuff after 9-11 and earned my respect. Out of all of them, IMO, Jeb is the one I'm most impressed with. He'd have my vote as Bush III.

Unfortunately, Gov Jeb Bush is not running in 2008. But, maybe 2012... :)

It's all Bush's fault! LOL.
Seriously, we love our Jebbie. He's the man! If only he could run again, oh those pesky gubernatorial term limits! Even the dims like him.
I wouldn't count him out for 08 but now is not the time for him to announce. They are all denying it but who knows.

Yeah, he could easily win another term or two or three as FL gov. But, some Dems did not always like him -- they gave him plenty of grief early on. I think they have come to realize FL voters like him, and so, the anti-Jeb Dems backed off somewhat. Believe it or not there is actually a Dem blog site that maintains a "Jeb-Watch" section. I think they believe he will in fact be a candidate for 2008. But, I don't think so -- I think he is going to wait.

JEB/ROVE 2008 or ROVE/JEB 2008 Oh, my, the entire left side of the aisle would stroke out!
To: summer
sounds like a plan but I haven't a clue as to what we should do

I was never impressed by Jeb Bush until after my visit to FloridaConsidering the state of the MSM and its Socialist bent, I'm not at all surprised.
I came here to finish some educational credits and ended up staying after it finally hit me in the face how much more properous I was becoming here than back in old Pa.
The difference is large. Thank you for your post.

I'm becoming more convinced that Jeb should run for President!! Think about the diversity of his small state, he has elderly retirees to college students, tourism, catastrophes and has handled it all and quite well from what I read in all the articles you all have posted.
Very impressive.
Jeb Bush for President!

That's a very good point -- Florida is not an easy state to govern, because we really have substantial groups with very diverse interests. But, he manages to reach out to everyone. Thanks for your post. :)
