"Residential" evidently = live-in day care, 24 hours a day. Just what the femiNazis ordered! Kiddy prison! No mom, no dad, just social workers. For anyone who isn't a la-la liberal, a greater formula for disaster is hard to imagine.

Nevertheless, Spence is smarter than Hillary. It doesn't take a village or a bureau to raise a child. It takes loving, moral-minded parents.

The goings-on at Boston University grieve me. Once upon a time I knew (slightly) and worked (a bit) with John Silber, then president of BU. I remember him being so full of fight, so enthused about bucking the liberal trends in academia. He's long since retired and added "Emeritus" to his title, but I'll bet it grieves him too to see the likes of Barney Frank leading a liberal self-appreciation frenzy like this.

And to give an award to Greer for flouting the rules of civilized and moral behavior -- ! A great university is reduced to whooping it up for barbarism. God save us all.

Oh good grief. How much time have you spent on other threads? I browsed through a Canteen thread because they had a recipe contest. First it was bumped to 666, then to 1000. Nothing sinister. Many threads go over 1000 posts.

I'm sure you realize that there has been a lot of strife on this forum due to Terri Schiavo threads. Some of the comments were horrible. We tend to get our backs up when someone pops in and it seems like flaming is about to commence. There is a wealth of information here, and what is happening now, will affect all of us in one way or another, down the road.

All we can do is keep Haleigh and others in our prayers, and keep them visible. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers.

What do you think about their "plan"? I don't think it's a good idea. Nothing prepares even the best foster family for some of these kids. When one of them goes on a rampage, or commits suicide, what will they do then?

It's too bad old fashioned orphanages can't be brought back. More of a boarding school model for children whose needs aren't as critical as the more psychologically damaged kids. Of course with all the predators running loose, it would be hard to staff. The world has truly gone to hell....

www.tbo.com jumps to The Tampa Tribune. There's a commentary by Daniel Ruth about 14 year old Anderson's beating until dead while the nursed watched like a referee in a wrestling match. (It's too bad the people who wanted Terri to die are mad that Anderson is dead). Anyway, the nurse waited twenty minutes after the beating before she called for an ambulance. IMO, after realizing how severely they battered the child, they let Anderson die. He was murdered imo and that includes by the nurse.

Anderson would have been a witness to the beating. He had to go.

The next time anyone says that Terri's freepers were prone to conspiracy theories, know this.

We were telling the truth and there's been another murder in Florida. The M.E. thought the sickle cell report would cover it all up. It's a good thing that someone grabbed the surveillance tape before it could be destroyed by Crist's law enforcement who beat the kid and let him lie there dying - a witness to their brutality.

Crickets chirp while Candidate for Gov Crist says nothing about his Sheriffs' employees and the nurse. Crist is also responsible for this child's death. His campaign is over. These were his employees who battered this child to death.

This is from the editorial at NCG. Does anyone know who each of these men are who are pictured? There's six men and five names listed. Specifically, the second man reminds me of a younger version of Felos. Does anyone know if that's him or am I just making this up? Also, why the color on the right?
