Oh, wait, you DID say that "I think the judge will rule very narrowly in favor of the defendants".

No, but what he meant was, he really had no idea which way the case would go.

You have to know how to read this stuff.

I did pedict it would be a narrow ruling.

Stop pretending that your own words aren't available for everyone to see. You predicted that it would be a narrow ruling "in favor of the defendants".

For a rudimentary understanding of the word precedent, I suggest you refer to Black's Law Dictionary. For a more thorough discussion, Llewellyn authored some excellent commentaries on the common law.

But when its your job, you try to find respectful euphemisms to describe why the stink should stay where it is.

:-} I sympathize, I'm just a blue collar guy with an opinion.

You just earned a place on my Virtual Ignore list, under 'irremediable liar'. Congratulations!

You can read my earlier posts to see the obvious solution to spam posting. No need to repeat it again for the 3rd or 4th time.

Your "solution" has been tried before. We can show you postings from FR creationists who stated that they would not read links, because they wanted the facts presented right here.

Which the Professor has decisively shown in this little exchange on the law.

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and opposition of science falsely so called (1Tim.6:20)

An instruction that had a quite specific meaning ing the First Century, but today only smugifies the wilfully ignorant

Google has ruined the joy of posting in a foreign language, at least one that uses the Roman alphabet.

RE: your "links solution" to perceived spam:

You must not have hung around these threads for long. If you had, you'd be all too aware that many other creationists have complained that lists of links are also spam and that they are "annoying." So which is it? You guys need to figure it out.

What you're not understanding is that you may have what you think is a simple little talking point you gleaned from some creationist pamphlet. So you post it here. Then someone, let's say Ichneumon, rebuts your claim with mountains of relevant and factual evidence. And you get pissed.

Well, waaahhh-waaahh-wah. That's the problem with you people. You're much more comfortable with a simple, "God did it," or "the flagellum is designed" type of soundbite answer rather than the cold hard facts.

This new tactic against Ich is so pitiful, so embarrassing, and so disingenuous, I can't believe sentient adults are making it. did you cry to your professors for making you read more than the captions?

There were also a number of times where I said one can never be sure how a judge will rule.

To: plain talk; Ichneumon
A thoughtful poster would include a hyperlink so as to not waste space and bandwidth in such a childish manner.

Many Cretans refuse to go to "Darwinist" sites for fear of corruption

Ichneumon is being thoughtful by presenting the information here to guard them from the danger of such contamination

You're making a big assumption here. Actually, two big assumptions.

I'm sure you're right. Particularly if someone posts links which have no relevance. I still believe it is common courtesy to others at the forum to be mindful of bandwidth and try to be more concise. Information is not just data. Commonly explained opinions and information can be stored at a web site with links pointing to it. More efficient. Many do that and I certainly appreciate it.

Jones' opinion has absolutely no relevance to any future case; even within the same district.

You sure are in for a lot of disappointments if you're naive enough to believe that!

Ich is a spamster and does not serve his cause well. Those that offer thoughtful links and information get more of a read from me. Crevo's should always go out and see what the world thinks. I regularly go to Islamic sites. It's called apologetic training. If one knows their beliefs are sound they have nothing to fear from looking at evo sites. I have studied them and find them extremely one-sided and shallow.
