Liberals can have the Academy Awards. Conservatives, who live in the real world, will happily take the SCOTUS.

And the President lets no grass grow under their feet.
Woo-hoo.
Congratulations to the Alitos.

They should take some photo tips from Tom Delay...
...but I bet they don't. All we'll see (IF we see them at all) are a bunch of sourpusses.

predictable.
Remember last year, shrinks were reporting it as "post-election depression syndrome" and saying many Kerry supporters were seeking therapy. I'm sure many of the DU and Kos people very involved.
Now we have "post supreme court justice swearing in syndrome" and many of the same losers will be calling their shrinks to get an appointment for tonight.
If they watch the State of the Union with Alito in his robes sitting with the other justices, they will probably have a complete nervous breakdown.

"...Sandra Day O'Connor. She served with class and will go down in history as an American pioneer thanks to President Reagan."You really meant to put a "/sarcasm" tag on there, right???
I mean, no conservative who's been paying attention could say something like that with a straight face.

That clip of Kennedy campaigning for Clinton in 1995/1996: Rush used to play it on his shows...still cracks me up thinking about it.You mean "...and you elect old Kennedy in the United States Senate, we're gonna start on the '96 campaign to elect Bill Clinton! As un-re-electable as any of us are!"
Pan to Bill grinning and nodding...

You know what would be a hoot?
President Bush nominating Harriet Miers *again*!!!
After the Demmie lovefest over how poor Harriet was treated by the big bully radical right wingers, I'd LOVE to see them actually give her a chance.
Right. And Kerry and Kennedy will start making sense.
Never mind. ;-)

Don't get too confident. Yes, this a great and wonderful victory for a decent, God fearing man and his wonderful family. But, there is much work to be done. We must all work together to totally destroy this "Traitor/Treason" Democrat Party at the polls in both 2006 and 2008 and beyond. That is the real mission. The current Democrat Party needs its heart ripped out!!!
