How much is she making?
A soldier was on FOX today -- an ex-Iraq Vet -- who has invented a lightweight, but very strong helmet and face shield, he is trying to find someone to manufacture it (I think he finally found someone) and get the military to buy it for the soldier to help protect them from shrapnel. It was a very unique looking unit and the whole thing weighs less than a pound.
The U.S. calls them terrorists. But that was it for the label. Woodruff proceeded to refer to Hamas as the militant Islamic group that calls for the destruction of Israel and he conceded there is no question that Hamas is more militant and more overtly Islamic than the secular leaders it defeated. Woodruff also noted that through its military wing, Hamas has led the fight against Israel, but he then put a nice and generous face on Hamas, adding that through its charities Hamas has provided free schooling, medicine and food.
Following his opening story on the election victory by Hamas, Woodruff set up a piece on how one of its most-celebrated figures, a woman who won a seat, is a mother who sent her sons to their deaths. With A Bombers' Mother as the on-screen tag, Wilf Dinnick provided a non-judgmental look at how Palestinians voted for Miriam Farahat because she's made astonishing sacrifices in her quest to destroy Israel. Farahat has sent three of her six sons on suicide missions. That's why her supporters call her Um Nidal, the 'Mother of the Struggle.' Without ever calling her or her murdering sons either murderers or terrorists, Dinnick concluded with her sacrifice for the cause: Today, she vowed to do whatever Hamas asks of her. 'I am ready to serve,' she says. And if that means sacrificing her three remaining sons, Um Nidal says she's willing. (Full transcripts of ABC's stories, as well as the labeling aired by CBS and NBC, follows.)
Get these media bums out of their! Are troops are doing a job, instead of doing it some of them have to protect their lives for the media who underminds their job! Only media that should be their is the miltary media, or else let them go alone.
I've been following the threads at Free Republic for eight years through some pretty weird stuff, but I have to give you credit for posting the most weird remarks I've seen yet. You should be congratulated for your...achievement.
I do appreciate your posting to that link. However, I also must tell you that you obviously have misinterpreted the words in my post. I am fully aware of what Woodruff and his MSM cohorts choose to report and how they word their report. I sincerely do pray that Woodruff and Vogt will survive. I also do pray that they will LIVE FOR TRUTH, AND REPORT THE TRUTH. Got it?
DITTO!
Then I noticed that Ramberg is a new Freeper -- welcome to FR, but you should try and explain comments like that and the context in which you are insulting someone.
Strange meets duck. Perhaps you aren't a strange duck, but you sure do post like one. :)
However, to say that he's a, "good-looking guy who gives us the news each night dammit", is not only ridiculous, but an incredible exaggeration. What is "good-looking" to one person, is ugly to the next. And the "news" is only the "news" when it is reported in an unbiased fashion. I do not get my "news" from the likes of Woodruff, nor any other puppet of the liberal MSM. So yes, you're wrong, and you aren't only on the wrong thread, you're probably on the wrong forum.
Does D. Rather have an alibi ?
BTW, I don't know "Bob" and I certainly don't "love" him...even in a "platonic" way. Yes, he is a human being, and yes, he was injured in Iraq. I will pray that he recovers, but I will also admit, that my prayers are the longest and loudest for our military men and women, and those of our allies, who fight the GOOD fight and risk their lives EVERY DAY in Iraq, Afghanastan, and other regions of the globe.
Prayers for them and good luck too. They are civilians but our wonderful military docs nurses and hospitals are taking care of them too
What's the frequency, Kenneth?
