Interesting. Might do some Lexus Nexus mining after a bit and will let you know if I find anything. Thanks for the info.
Eberly is USAF Colonel David W. Eberly, the senior ranking US officer captured during the Persian Gulf War. He was the Wing DO (Director of Operations) for the 1st Tac Fighter Wing. Prior to the start of the PGW the wing was originally deployed to Thumrait in Oman, that is where I met him. Hell of a man and a real class act!

"Yet the LibRats will still chant "Bush Lied""
I can almost hear the new refrain from the Libs: The WMD were nice and safe in Iraq under the mentally stable Saddam. Because of Chimpy McHaliburton's rush to war, the WMD are now in the hands of terrorists. It's Bush's fault.

The libs have already said that same thing several times over the last two years...every single time a report came out about the WMDS being moved.
If we find the WMD's the RATS will say "how do we know we found them all? If we kept Saddam in check at least we would have known they were in Iraq."
If Al Quieda uses a WMD, the RATS will say, "see? Bush waited too long to go into Iraq. While Bush was watching Rome burn, the Iraqis moved the stuff."
It's hard to believe that any General could have contradicted Saddam in a meeting....and still be alive to tell about it. Doesn't pass the smell test. Saddam may have taken such advice if it was offered, but he would have killed the advisor. And his family.
