When Doug from Upland lets us know they're ready, I'm going to mail this DVD to their main office here in Illinois:

INDICTING HILLARY

Obama will NOT sign up with Hillary! (a/k/a Mrs. Bill Clinton) if he thinks she/they is/are going to go down in flames.

“It’s my understanding that at least seven Democrats have announced they will not be supporting it, meaning at most you’d get 38 votes."

The math is slightly off - - seven Democrats in the "Gang of Fourteen" have promised not to filibuster, plus there are three Democrats who already announced that they will vote for Alito, meaning the most the Democrats would get is 35 votes (including Jeffords).

So it is no accident that Senator Sessions sits today on the committee that once voted him down.

Which cracks me up no end, especially because one of those senators who "voted him down" is now the Chairman of that committee!

This guy is about as dumb as they come. He is nothing but a "Black" racist that is going nowhere fast. Keep an eye on him and watch him fade over the next few years. And....if folks think this guy is going to help Hillary Clinton get elected POTUS, or any other Democrat Traitor get elected POTUS, you'd be sadly mistaken. Now, if you want to talk about political power, talk about Hispanics or Asians, because that's where the political action is. Blacks are to busy mired in hating whites racism, following destructive and ineffective "Black" leaders, and are going forward to zilch, other than staying bound to the bottom of the economic and opportunity pole the Democrat "Slavery" Party has attached them to for the past fifty years. They are indeed a lost people. What a shame!!!

LOL! I read their "Alito" discussion board yesterday. They're going nuts (well, more nuts than usual, LOL.) Looking forward to checking in over there when the fillibuster fizzles. They used to all talk about moving to Canada, but since Canada "changed parties" they seem to prefer Belize.

Obama wouldn’t announce which way he’d vote, but seemed lukewarm about the prospect.

Yet another Derm profile in courage.

Snort.

"it’s very important, I think, we have a Supreme Court that is very independent and is willing to say to the president, ‘Here are the boundaries of your power,’” Obama said. “And I don’t get the sense Judge Alito is willing to do that.”"

Last time I checked the Constitution doesn't give the Court the power to dictate the Presidential powers. The court doesn't set boundaries for the other two branches of our Republic. Amen.

I think the Dems believe they'll win the presidency in '08.

With a minority in the Senate or a bare majority in the Senate, they would need the rules change about voting on judges in order to get their justice nominees approved.

But...the Constitution was written with the nomination process intended to go forward. It was not written with a bizarre Senate rule about unlimited debate in mind.

C-Span ran some of the senate debate on Alito last night, including a press conference directly after the judiciary committee vote. Republicans lined up around the microphone, and Senator Sessions stood to the left. Ordinarily, your eye lights on the tallest person, but something about Sessions draws you. Whether it's his quiet poise, integrity, whatever...I couldn't look away from him, though he isn't tall, nor was he moving around, talking, etc.. He's one of those rare people, his character just shines.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Obama's a total lightweight who needs his handlers to determine which breakfast cereal he likes best. Of course, he's more heavyweighted than his senior Senator from the same state, but Obama looks good on TV and has a reasonable-sounding demeanor.

He'll happily keep getting elected until somebody whispers in his ear that he ought to run for President. And then it will be John Kerry all over again.

"When the Democrats are not forced to follow Senate precedent, they consistently side in favor of the more powerful special interest groups."

I would say the statist, collectivist and elitist groups.

Republicans will not filibuster judges. Even after all of this. Republicans just don't operate that way.

If the President nominated a black conservative, there'd be race riots. The Dems would see to that.
But he won't.

Harvard Law Review must not be all that rigorous if someone with this degree of flawed thinking can be president of it.

They were counting senators like Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, Dick Durbin of Illinois and Debbie Stabenow on their side.

Rustnotgold, Turban and Stabintheback--what a slimy trio that is. Throw in the instigators Manslaughter Kennedy and Longface Traitor Kerry and you have five future inductees into the Despicable Obnoxious Government Slime (DOGS) Hall of Fame.
