"I thought the excerpts I inculded were more important. One further thought. That sounds very much like a "Mary Mapes" interpretation of events.

....and we end this silliness once and for all. I agree. That is the only reason Dems are not filibustering. They don't want it ended once and for all.

Yeah, it's good alright, but why we gotta sit around and play this little insipid guessing game about our own Republican Senators when we work so danged hard to elect majorities into our US Senate? WHY???
We have enough insipid little games to wade through from the Demonicrats, already!!! I just cannot tolerate RINO's... PERIOD!!! (especially so-called moderates!)

The article is dated two days ago, and two days ago is when I first heard that Collins announced for Alito.

She isn't a Republican...really. She's a RINO. Wonder what made her decide to support Alito and go against her close buds...the dems?

My mistake, it is Olympia Snow they are blast faxing. Faxing, e-mailing, calling: The kooks are on an all out futile assault trying to change minds. Have been reading reactions where some angry staffers are hanging up on these moonbats. Have to think that it probably will convince some senators (Feinstein who already changed her mind) but will also have some senators reinforcing their decision on voting for cloture (Snowe, Lieberman, Stevens).
I'm sure the senators who are getting pi$$ed with the flood of threats from moonbats (who are trying to pass off false towns and zip codes) will appreciate that the Swimmer has joined in. Yep, Senator Kennedy is actually telling all the MoveOn, Daily Kos, NARAL, DUmmie kooks who to pester:
Daily Kos: Kennedy's Call to Arms
I'm sure that these senators will surely appreciate that this campaign on shutting down all their communications is now being directed by Teddy, lol.

I'm getting confused between votes for Alito and votes for cloture. We have the 60 votes to end the filibuster ?Right?

We have the 60 votes to end the filibuster ?Right? Yes. At least 64 votes.

So much for Tweedle-dee - now if only Tweedle-dum Snowe will come around.......

It is looking better. I think we'll see him with 60 plus votes when it's all said and done.

Snowe has already announced she would vote for cloture.
To: Founding Father
Hasn't "Sheets" Byrd also said he would vote for Alito?
