I got one of the new Discovery models a month ago. It came with a floor charger that the Roomba will go back to if the battery gets weak. If it didn't finish cleaning, it'll start again when the battery is charged. It will for for about 90 minutes on normal clean, 120 - 180 on Max clean. between charges.
