If it became necessary, I would be prepared to die for the USA and for Israel.

"I think it was then that I heard the words "terrorist" and "terrorism" for the first time..."
I'm younger that Steven Speilberg (though probably not by as much as I'd like) and even I became aware of terrorism before Munich. Did he forget, how could he? that RFK was killed by "a palestinian terrorist"? Sirhan Sirhan, may his name live in infamy, infamy.

"I would die for Israel" is what every Jihad Bomber pledges too. Somehow I am not impressed as much with words as deeds.

Just catch the next El Al flight to Tel Aviv and join the Israeli Army; you might get your chance to die for Israel.
One can only hope.

Spielberg would die for Israel?
That's ok Steven, your most recent movie already died so you won't have to.
If Spielberg were to produce a film about the Israeli Air Force taking out Saddam's Osirak reactor, he would no doubt paint the Baathists as sympathetic characters.
You know, in the interest of "fairness".

We should all be boycotting Hollywood in general, but if we are helplessly addicted to the movies, then we should at least boycott this film.

He might DIE for Israel, but he won't VOTE for Israel. He keeps supporting left-wing, anti-Israeli Democrats.
By the way, I thought he was American. Would he DIE for America??

Strange, he would die for Israel but has no problem of making a living profit off lying about Israel.

I see he is feeling the heat for his terrible distortion of what happened at Munich.

Spielberg: Not at all. I am now extremely happy that I had the courage Chutzpah to make "Munich".That is better.

But would he kill terrorists for Israel? Or for the US?

(The film has already sparked off discussion in the USA about the Middle East and about the methods used today in the "war on terrorism" declared by George W. Bush ...)
The war was not declared by George W. Bush. It has been on for many years now, through many acts of terror culminating with 9/11. What George W. did was to finally join the fight. The fact that liberals can't see this is a detriment to our struggle.
