I agree, but when everyone says it's a foregone conclusion that Feinstein will win, it becomes next to impossible for a candidate like you describe to raise any money. The CA GOP will focus on the Sac statewide races and the NRSC has much more competitive races to worry about. And no one with their own money will waste it on this race.
What advice would you offer a young, quick witted and energetic potential candidate - who's not a multimillionaire - given those odds?
