"...The Republican National Committee (RNC) officially endorsed a guest worker program on Friday. President Bush also backs a temporary worker program..."We have lost this battle to the very officials we elected. There is nothing standing in the way of this program being passed and signed into law. Freepers, we have lost our beautiful America, and the loss came from within.

It is truly sad that we have both major parties bent on terminating the United States in favor of some sick dream of a merged USA-Mexico.
Sad too that they cannot honesty eplain their perfidy, but instead couch it in lies about "temporary" and "guest".
1776-2006: Two hundred and thirty years. Not a bad run, but it could have been a lot longer, had we gotten better leaders toward the end than the likes of Ted Kennedy, George Bush, and Bill Clinton.

What's wrong with a 90 day guest worker program for all illegal aliens?

They will reap what they sow, and will be replaced by someone who is fluent in Spanish. It's bound to happen.
The "guest worker" program will NOT work out. For example, will it define what the consequences will be if a "guest worker" becomes pregnant? Will we revoke her guest worker status and send her back home to give birth?
We know the answer to that one. She'll stay here, raise her anchor baby, while another comes to take her place..repeating the cycle.
We need to revisit the 14th Amendment...sigh.
