I just looked back at Trent Lott's comments that got him in so much trouble and imo it pales in comparison to what Hillary said. It makes me so mad that they get away with this race baiting and pandering while Lott was crucified in the press for his statement. Also, all is well in Nagin-land today b/c he said he was sorry (at least he has the guts to do that, unlike HRC) but Lott's apology wasnt enough to calm the raging mass of critics. Talk about double standard!

Some of these nutless Republicans bring it on themselves by not standing up to them, and by not pointing out over and over,so the MSM can't ignore it,the double standard they and the Rats have. These Republicans(especially Trent Lott-he was majority leader, for heaven's sake)need to grow some, what are they afraid of? Americans understand that you don't just roll over for unfair double standards and hypocrisy, they accept enough from the Rats.

Love it!
I smell James Carville tactics behind the media barrage of the past few days...Hillary, gore, even Kerry was spouting off at the mouth from Jerusalem. They think the reps are down and theyre trying to kick as hard as they can. Only problem is that middle America doesnt want to hear what theyre saying.

Ya Dial 1-800 Moron.....Howard Dean in Abramoff Cash Fib [Newsmax]

Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean denied on Sunday that any Democrats had taken money from lobbyist Jack Abramoff, even though several top Dems - including Sen. Hillary Clinton - have already announced they were giving their tainted Abramoff cash to charity.

That little detail didn't faze Dean, however - who insisted with a straight face to CNN's Wolf Blitzer:

"There are no Democrats who took money from Jack Abramoff, not one, not one single Democrat. Every person named in this scandal is a Republican. Every person under investigation is a Republican. Every person indicted is a Republican".
******************************************************

LOL!!!.....Which Burger King did Dean graduate from?

Yesterday on FOX, Susan Estrich was defending Hillary's comments and when asked what was meant by that she actually said Hillary was referring to the Abramoff scandal. I've heard of sticking to the talking points but that's ridiculous.

Who by the way ......posters at D.U. is calling Retarded

So ya....one moment Media Magi Matthews...next moment ...Smackdown loser and Retard.

Sharpton starts pointing at Ron Christie [RNC] and saying,

"See!!...your the only Black Republican in Washington they could find"!

Sharpton goes on and on about Republicans telling democrats how they should hold their Black holiday....and how they voted against it.
then ends with Martin Luther King was a.....Freedom Fighter.

Clearly there wasnt anyone on her staff with the brains or guts to tell her how bad it sounded beforehand.
That can't be it . . . anyone as humble and gracious as Hillary would have advisors who could and would be frank. </sarcasm>

(Snip) – Max, Baer, Jr. is far from the hay-seed character “Jethro Bodine” that he played on TV’s long running comedy The Beverly Hillbillies. Born Maximilian Adalbert Baer, Jr., the son of legendary heavyweight boxer Max Baer, Sr., he grew up in Sacramento, California, and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Santa Clara in business administration with a minor in philosophy.

It makes me just as mad. So never believe some of these FReepers who keep claiming that the old media is irrelevant and dead. It isn't. If it were, what you have described would not be happening!

The old established/liberal/socialist media is America's most ruthless, relentless, and destructive enemy.

Huxley: “ The greatest triumphs of propaganda have been accomplished, not by doing something, but by refraining from doing. Great is truth, but still greater, from a practical point of view, is silence about truth." — Old Media lives these words.

Carville and Paul Begala co-wrote a book called, "Take It Back: Our Party, Our Country, Our Future"

http://www.simonsays.com/content/book.cfm?sid=33&pid=511346

They believe that,"By being too timid and too weak, too hesitant and too confused, Democrats have allowed Republicans to run amok".

LOL, those guys must be watching different Democrats than I do!
