Awesome photos all. Someone else said our First Lady always seems to make someone smile. True. She is always laughing and enjoying herself as is her host. Barbara is a beautiful young woman. The whole family is awesome. Just awesome. Thanks for the beautiful photos.

My plan is to be a policy advisor like Karl Rove. As for getting married, I imagine it'll happen someday but I can't really plan for that. It's hard to travel without money. So unless you'd like to donate some...? I'm already in major debt because my parents don't pay for anything. I work in the cafeteria while attending school full time. I have a full tuition scholarship but room & board, books, medicine, clothing, etc. is paid for by me.

I didn't see an answer to your "charter school" question so I'll take a stab at it....

A Charter school is operated through a local school district, HOWEVER, parents usually sign commitments (for time and effort), and commit their children to longer hours and usually tougher standards. They are kind of a way for Americans to get their kids out of the PUBLIC schools that might not be working, and experiment with another form of education where there is more accountability expected up front. Hope that helps. The money still comes from the district, though. (Taxpayers, that is.) Some of us would like to see lots more Charter Schools.

Thankee, ohio, for the mega dose.

Music to my online ears:

Eleanor, I was so glad to see that your country's police thwarted a plot to kidnap the Blair's young son. SO glad.

All: Here's a hoot: Tom Daschle Considers Bid for President.

I'd like to see a three-way primary mud fight among Daschle, Gore, and Kerry. Hillarude could referee. That would ensure a fair fight (cough).

Very cool, snugs. You're building quite a collection of magnets. I like the New Hampshire mosquito. Thing looks like it could drill for oil, LOL!

I have to tell you it is such fun for me to see those magnets all the way over in England on your fridge. This is the first time I have ever sent anything overseas, so this was a small adventure for me. The Del Amo Mall where I bought them is exactly 2.43 miles from the Pacific Ocean if one were to fly in a straight line due west. A bit of California sunshine for you and your dad.

I might do that as an Executive in an steel distribution center. When I was a child, I racked steel bars, ran 30 ton cranes, and cut steel beams. After that, I ran the logistics shop floor logistics and shop floor portion of the business. Then, I went to college, 1,700 miles away and majored in economics/business. Learned how to read a P&L and a balance sheet. Earned my MBA and marketing degrees. Then, I went back into the steel industry and grew our family U$D 6 million dollar firm into a U$D 25 million firm in 20 years. Then I got bored, and decided to build firms like Estee Lauder, Seagrams, Calvin Klein Cosmetics, then Smith-Klein, and some IBM entities, such as IBM PC's division in RTP, NC. After that, leveraged the domestic IBM PC business to Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela.

If you would like to challenge, please advise, and place your bet.

BTW, full circle, most "foreigners" are not FAT.

Flame on brother.

I love the female apparel in these pictures.

The color coordination among the three ladies is amazing.

Sir. You have admirable thoughts, and ambitions and love of country that are the future of this terrific country, the United States of America.

Please keep and maintain, like a laser beam, your focus in the love of God and our country.

Americans depend on our military.

I have posted dozens of posts to cut about 15 social programs, and split the pie in raising slalries for our military by 50% and cut our taxes by 505%.

I've been to Europe many times........12 different countries, including Belgium. Two of my children have lived there, and one is living in England presently.

Mr. Verhofstadt is not typical of Europeans, but even if he were, your diatribe to altura about fat, ugly Americans was unnecessary.

altura's comment was light and in no way did it cast aspersions on Europeans as a whole, nor their appearance relative to Americans (and, it was rather accurate, to tell the truth). If I may presume to speak for more than myself, I would say that most of us think that Guy Verhofstadt is kinda cool.

Your response was extreme and unnecessary, and rather curious as well.....

Music to my ears as well, Gretchen.

That's why, no matter what the President said yesterday (well........almost), I was determined to make that the quote of the day.

Hearing the TRUTH about that hideous excuse for a man, algore, coming from the official White House spokesman was DELICIOUS! :)

Morning bump.

Thanks for the DOSE Ohio. Very nice pics.

ot: Ohio, I know I owe some thoughts about the song "Steward of Gondor". I haven't forgotten, it's just that sometimes, certain unreasonable people expect me to work for my pay. LOL.

Good artistic eye, Gretchen!

I hadn't noticed that, but I did notice how lovely the colors were in the picture. The young lady from Ghana tied the colors of Laura and Barbara together. Neat!

No hurry on my account, but I will welcome your thoughts whenever you are free enough (without punishment at work!) to give them to me.

I've seen a lot of Mom in these pics of Barbara, kitkat.

I love that particular pic because she's usually a little shy, so you don't see so many big, broad smiles from Barbara.

Now Jenna, on the other hand..........an extrovert and a laugh-er like Dad. :)
