Hassan's pappy was busted in the 80s for forging Iraqi passports and
other documents, bet your local newspapers didn't cover that.

Not a peep in the press I heard/saw.
But, it could be a sign of criminal or benevolent activity.
IIRC, the Christian apologist Ravi Zacharias told of an Iraqi that
quietly converted from Islam to Christianity.
The only reason he's alive today is that his job was...forging
passports and documents for Saddam's intelligence operatives.
Thus he managed to forge a passport for himself and get out of Iraq.
