I am not even going to address each one, since they have all been addressed before.

You never have. If you want, I can find a few examples for you.

Here is what you claim:

"He continues to negotiate with Cedillo on drivers' licenses for illegals." The truth is that Arnold got the Legislature to revoke their bill granting licenses to illegals, and when Cedillo put a new bill on his desk for the same thing, Arnold VETOED it.

There you go again. You were told what Arnold said and offered a source HERE.

I'll repeat it for you, again.

Schwarzenegger on Driver Licenses for illegal aliens during a January Interview with Univision:

We are right now in the middle of working very hard with Senator Cedillo. My staff and his staff. Everyone is working together. And we are absolutely positive that we will come up with a great bill. With his help and with my team's help, I think we will work it out. So there's, uh, really a good move forward.

Interviewer: How would you deal with more conservative members of the legislature...?

Schwarzenegger: Again, it's one of those things where we all have to get together and see that this is a good idea and this is the way to move forward. So, I am talking to my Republican friends all the time about it, and also to my Democratic friends. We will do it.

Washington Times, 3/02/04

"Our staffs have met, and they're working on this together," said Vincent Salido, spokesman for the Republican governor

Schwarzenegger on Driver Licenses for illegal aliens during a December 2003 Interview with Dan Weintraub:

Reporter: "You did say that to me when we talked one on one (Sept. 6, 2003) that you would consider a package deal that would have included a requirement of insurance for those people that are going to get the drivers license. That I know is something that you believe in. Do you also believe that all undocumented immigrants will be able to get a drivers license if they present insurance, if they have a background check, fingerprints?

Governor: "Absolutely...yes. This is what we are going to work on. This is what we are going to talk about, but right now the most important thing is to get this passed (the repeal of SB 60) so we can move to other issues. I think Senator Cedillo was extremely gracious and helpful with this whole thing. He is a great leader, he understood what would be the best thing for California; rather than just doing an immediate fix, but to make everybody happy. It doesn't make sense if the majority of Californians run around and hate the idea of undocumented immigrants having drivers licenses because there is no background check, because it doesn't solve the problem with insurance. Let's do it the right way, let's make every Californian happy and let's make the undocumented immigrants happy."

Keep it up.

Thank you for admitting that you prefer leftist, socialist Democrats to fiscally conservative, moderate Republicans.

And just where in there does it say that I prefer them? I said Arnold was more to the left then they are. No preference was stated. You want to twist my words to support what you think of me go ahead. Those that know me in the real world know what I am.

Well, the choice is Arnold of any of those leftist Dems I mentioned or other similar once.

You think they are better than Arnold, so obviously you prefer them to Arnold.

Sorry Karaoke,

"With his help and with my team's help, I think we will work it out."

does not even come close to meaning...

"He has also tried to give licenses to illegals.".

Bad spin, again.

BTW, the pattern of your failure to respond to such lists of Arnold's "accomplishments" has continued from as early as November 2004.

You are twisting the facts so much, it may cause a hurricane.
I am not even going to address each one, since they have all been addressed before.
But here is just one example.
Here is what you claim:
"He continues to negotiate with Cedillo on drivers' licenses for illegals."

Arnold has stated that he will continue to consider drivers licenses for illegals, FO. That is fact. He even said so in his veto message.

Once the federal rule making is finalized, it would be appropriate to engage in discussions relating to implementation of the Act, including whether or not a driving only certificate is appropriate in California. For these reasons I am unable to sign this bill.

Now, what about that borrowing; spending; pro GLBT legislation; gun bans; conservancies; taxpayer/ratepayer subsidized hydrogen highways, solar roofs, stem cell research; global warming regulations; toll roads; etc. etc. etc.

"He has also tried to give licenses to illegals.".

I'm afraid it is you who is guilty of spin, because this quote of Arnold from the same post indeed comes very close:

We are right now in the middle of working very hard with Senator Cedillo. My staff and his staff. Everyone is working together. And we are absolutely positive that we will come up with a great bill. With his help and with my team's help, I think we will work it out.

Univision's reporter was Pablo Spinoza. Unfortunately, we used to have a link to an original media file by which to substantiate that quote, but the link is now dead. The only other source for an audio file I can find is here.

Judge condemns deal with prison guards He threatens to take over state system -- demands meeting with Schwarzenegger

Sacramento -- A U.S. District judge, renewing a threat to take over California's penal system, condemned a recent deal that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger struck with the state's prison guards union, saying it gives the union too much clout.

In what could cause an even longer delay in passing a state budget, Judge Thelton Henderson said in a letter released Tuesday that the pact between the union and the Schwarzenegger administration was "business as usual" in the state's scandal-plagued prison system. The agreement, which the governor touted as saving the state money, gives the union more control than management has inside prison walls, Henderson said.

The Truth Squad Investigates Schwarzenegger

Abortion: Schwarzenegger takes a pro-choice stance on abortion which isn't too popular with the GOP, according to Arnold's newest co-chair Abel Maldonado. Maldonado said, "Some conservatives in my party are not going to be happy with that."

How is that for links?

The real question is why you prefer someone to the left of those guys? You want to paint me as the liberal when you clearly fall into that catagory by prefering the person to the left.

2. SB 60 – Driver’s Licenses for the Undocumented:

State Senator Gil Cedillo, author of SB 60, has met with the Governor, who offered to work with him on a new bill. Based on that conversation, Senator Cedillo asked his fellow Senators to join him in repealing SB 60, which they did. I voted in the Assembly Transportation Committee for its repeal, and a full vote of the Assembly is expected on Monday, Dec. 1. SB 60 would not have gone into effect until Jan.1, 2004.

It is likely that if a new bill is drafted, it will include many safeguards, such as background checks, evidence of employment, having applied for citizenship, etc. Law enforcement officials and the Governor’s office will be involved in drafting any new proposals. 13 states currently issue driver’s licenses regardless of a person’s immigration status, and for 65 years, California also did. If people are driving illegally, which I don’t condone, I continue to believe that they should be required to pass a driving test, know our laws, and carry insurance. Under current law, if pulled over by police or sheriff, the person’s car is impounded, but for $600 it is returned right back to them.

Committee OKs Drivers' Licenses for Illegals

The bill has significant differences from SB 60, the measure signed last year by Davis and then repealed by the Legislature and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger after Davis was recalled. SB 60 contained fewer limits on an illegal alien’s ability to qualify for a license.

Asked about the latest version of the bill, Schwarzenegger said today that he is “working very hard to make this happen.”
