I always thought that Ed Meese was one of the most articulate spokesmen for the Reagan Administration (and there were many.) Matthews was his usual shallow self.
To: Howlin
Well youre not being tapped. The tapping is a particular technique of connecting into the wires of a particular phone or intoplugging into a particular wireless phone. This is intercepting communications that are going overseas. This issue has politicians on Bush's side getting more Clintonesque every day. So far I've seen several versions of them depending on what the definition of "is" is.
To: Howlin
You have to wonder if Matthews is a moron, or is intentionally misrepresenting what Scooter Libby was indicted for.

Reads like Meese playing pingpong with a child.
To: Howlin
I don't think he'll invite Ed Meese back in a hurry.
Great transcript.

A comment I found over at
the Political Teen. He has the video.
Meese said it (the NSA spying) was a legitimate lawful act, then Chris asks (like a retard), well then why is it secret then? Meese said Because we dont want the enemy to know whats going on. (I think he must have been thinking youre a dumbass).
Thanks for the commentary Ian!!! LMAO and spilled my morning coffee!!!

It is certainly revealing of Matthews' "thought" process, or more correctly, of Matthews' shockingly obvious lack of critical thinking skills...

Are you as surprised at his ignorance about what is actually going on as I am?

There is an article someplace about the high number of throw-down traceless cell phones being purchased out of the ordinary.
The NYTimes has aided the terrorist along with their traitorous source.
To: McGruff
Nothing like showing your complete ignorance on TV.
