It's just that they are plowing some new territory, not only in structural, but aslo in systems (where I was involved when I worked there) that aren't proven to be up to the level of reliability necessary for commercial airplane use.

The reliability of black aluminum has been proven and systems integration is a smokin' core competency.

I'll check tomorrow at work, but I think they have 2 ex UAL 777's, and two others for 4 total P&W powered 777's. I'm not 100% sure.

Though AI has a ton of Pratt Engines, now, I bet they put GE90's on the new ones.

I was only half right. 4 total planes but ALL are ex UAL.
