NMH made the claim that SOME lacks whose children attend a Christian school with his children are conservative. Do you claim that to be a racial impossibility of some sort? Why? Their Christianity makes them conservative in the context of our society. Again, they do not merely attend church but also send their children to integrated church schools, presumably of an integrated church (Methodist but conservative if NMH belongs). They certainly sound conservatve to me. Are conservative blacks a racial impossibility, an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms???? If so, explain and prove. Ohhhh, this elk is soooooo brave!

Per capita, the highest number of violent crimes are perpetrated by, drum roll, VIOLENT CRIMINALS. In fact they commit all of them. It may be true that blacks have a higher per capita rate than many other groups. So what? Do you have a plan to deport them as a race???? 5th/14th Amendment equal protection anyone????? Will you deport the law-abiding blacks, the honorably discharged black veterans, the black border patrol agents???? Or will you just try to bar "black" Mexicans and Central and South Americans at the border on the presumption that they MUST be criminals??? I mean, I would not want to unjustly call you a racist but, if any answer of yours to this paragraph's deportation questions is yes, where is the injustice perpetrated against you??? Define it or them.
I might, except for the welfare question because that is probably the Medicaid elderly of all races. And gun owners probably vote 80-90% Republican along with pro-lifers, as well they should. There, I dared. I am soooooooo brave an elk!!!!!

Do you want to stop blacks (if any) from crossing our southern border to enter the USA???? Their ancestors were probably here before yours but not before my wife's. She agrees with me.
As to illogical reasoning: If 70% of Americans are Caucasian and, thus, Caucasians have the highest number of welfare recipients, does that make all Caucasians welfare recipients? If the highest percentage of violent criminals, and of innocent violent crime victims, and perhaps even the highest NUMBER of violent crime perps are black, then three questions: Are all Caucasians welfare recipients or under the cloud that they probably will be? Are all blacks violent criminals or expected to be? Are all blacks innocent victims of violent crime or expected to be? Explain your answers in detail. Logical elks and other logical Americans want to know.
When is the last time that you campaigned door-to-door in the ghetto or barrio seeking votes for a conservative candidate? Why not?
Let's set us free by indulging in truth. Let's pay attention to racial statistics as a basis for public policy IF (and only IF) it will make a difference. Now that we are paying attention, what do you propose to DO to keep those alleged race-related societal ills from "festering." Do you have some sort of final solution to the problem? Is it constituional, non-criminal and legal??? Share!
Concededly, all Muslims are not like us. Ummmm, many do not differ RACIALLY from Caucasian Americans (See Iran). Are ANY of them like us other than the difference in religious faith? If not, why not?
Assuming that you do not propose deporting blacks as a group, how do you suggest getting them to be more Republican in their voting habits (particularly if you deny that they can be conservatives in spite of being black)?
Finally, what do your ideas about blacks have to do with a thread dealing with the all too usual anti-Mexican, anti-Hispanic, border moonbat obsession???? You may well not be a racist but you are confusing folks with such tactics.
They're also helping to pick up the tab for social security through taxes - that's part of the reason they are craving a guest visa system.
Some people just don't want to get it.

That's always been the case with groups, as they came into the Country, no? My Father, a stone-cutter by trade, mined sandstone from the local quarries for the first five years he was in the Country. He wasn't plying his actual trade, he was involved in hard labor.
The difference, and the problem, seem to me to be that presently, Economic opportunity is all that many of the working class immigrants want of this Country. That was true in part for my parents who emmigrated in '58, but my Mom and Dad still get very excited when they speak of coming here, outide of the desire to escape serious poverty in Italy. Both of them say, still with much emotion in their voices, 'it was a dream to come to America.' That sensibility gave them the impetus to embrace the American experiment as outlined in the Constitution, though they had never really read it. They became Americans. The Italian identity was never lost, but they wouldn't trade America for Italy. They wouldn't go back.
I became a citizen when I was 19 years old. The swearing in ceremony is one of the most memorable moments of my life. I had to renounce my allegiance to Italy, and profess my allegiance to the U.S. It was sobering and sombre, and incredibly moving.
I sit back amused at how they claim NOT to be racists but can't stop using racist categories to justify their racism.
Re your post #107, no doubt your dad and your family are the immigrant type who built this country: hard-working, patriotic, and appreciative. Such immigrants worked hard and insisted their children work hard and study hard and move up the ladder. My point is that we are receiving masses of low-rung workers who are likely to always be low-rung workers unless they become welfare dependents. The same is happening in Europe. The second and third (if not the first) generation immigrants are largely on the dole. They hate their new country, disproportionately engage in crime, and cause trouble.
Several countries are getting waves of immigrants who have no interest in assimilating and who hate the host country. I suspect that's why countries such as Japan retain restrictive immigration policies. We refuse to do so and, I fear, will reap what we now are sowing.
The merger of the Country-Club Republicans (Nixon) with social and fiscal conservatives (Reagan) is what he's referring to.
