Remind Clint Jr., to always wear the seatbelt, no more than one friend in the car with him, and that driving is a 'privilige' not a right and that that privilige can be taken away at any time.
Sweet car, but with three teenaged drivers here I would have gone with something used, that needed work...that your son either learned to work on or at the least worked to pay the insurance and/or repairs on. Too many kids in my kids HS classes totalled everything from birthday gift cars to mom's mini-vans...16 years old boys think they are invincible. Good luck!!!
Is the temperature gauge a Boyce Moto Meter by chance? I've only seen them at antique car shows.
Did you see my comment #10:
One per dealer will be available, and ONLY at the biggest dealers. It will likely go for up to $20K more than the otherwise affordable $39K they've been bragging about.
They were going to make 7,500 Cobras per year for three years (not sure if that includes convertibles or not).
Were you really able to get one?? And was it $39k like advertized? I was eager to buy one too, but now I'm not even going to bother looking for one.
Stop listening to the sheisters that tried to mark up the 2003 and 2004 Cobras. I have a 2003. We heard the same tripe then. They said the same thing and built 13,800 in two builds. Some were marked up. I got mine for $1,000 below sticker. In 2004 there was extra stock you could get 6,000 below sticker. I am on my dealers waiting list on the top of the list when they come out.
