At first I thought she meant "the rich" but from the rest of her statement it seems white folks are the "elite few".

This is actually true.
time for a trip down memory lane.
When Robert Reich was Secretary of Labor, early on he was touting all of the new jobs created by the Clinton Administration..........right up until it was found that he was deliberately fudging the numbers.
