And don't they know it!!!

I bet that is why they are more "in your face" to President Bush...they know their tenure is secure..

I think that Sen. Warner is up though..and he was in the gang of dwarfs..

One RINO that we do know is up for re-election is Lincoln Chafee..and incredibly, they (Bush Administration) are gonna make the same mistake with him, that they did with Specter...UNLESS, we can let them know that, that would be a losing proposition in the eyes of their constituents.

Personally, I'd LOVE if Repubs turned on and 'shot' pea-brained McCain (politically speaking of course)

...the Rats are excellent at this and deserve credit for their political acumen, disgusting as their methods are.

It is not so much the Democrats as it is the fact that the liberal news media conducts a 24/7 infomercial for the Democrat political agenda and create controversies out of thin air to attack Republicans with.

On CNN this morning, the talking head finished a story about Delay's connection with Abramoff with the comment that a senior Democrat had labeled the Abramoff matter as an example of the "Republican culture of corruption".

On NPR this morning, the talking heads were discussing the fact that the Abramoff scandal would affect both Democrats and Republican Congressmen so they labeled the Democrat involvement as "business as usual" for politicians.

If Clinton had been in the White House during Katrina, the Big Story would have been how Clinton conducted one of American history's largest rescue efforts to save poor black people. Since Bush was in the White House, the Big Story was how Bush hates black people because he had not rescued every last one of them 36 hours after Katrina had passed New Orleans.

Bush's approval now stands at 40% according to a new AP poll. Disapproval is at 59%. Congress has an approval of 34%.

AP polls are garbage (heavily overpolled Dems), but the relative comparison is of note. Congress' approval is dismal in every poll.

(The President's actualy approval rating is about 50%, in spite of the leftist media's barrage of lies and distortions to try to push it down. If the truth were known, it would be significantly higher).

Exactly my point, mystery. Thanks for the illustration.

The more corrupt you are in the Dem party, the more power you get.

That's why anyone who says, "There's no difference between the two because they're ALL corrupt" is flat out lying, or living in abject ignorance.

Let's clean out the guilty here, and keep the honor of the Republican party strong.

(Every time the vile Pelosi uses the words "culture of corruption" I want to hurl.....)

btw, as one who signed up yesterday, can we assume that you actually BELIEVE AP polls?

Because if you do, that would be really funny.....

"And the rats bring down yet another good man"

I hate to say this because I really thought Delay was a real statesman, but maybe he's steppin aside cause he knows whats comin his way.

I hope that's not true, but he'd always been the kinda guy NOT to back down. Now he's caveing in. hmmmmmm!

Well put. As befits your name. I suppose we can take some comfort from the fact that no matter how low the President's numbers might be at any time, they are always better than those for the media. Still, the never-ending onslaught of the press gets to be tiresome. I would like to see more direct attacks on the media, naming names and impugning their motives, by Republican leaders. Direct and open warfare would be preferable to the constant game of playing defense and denying charges.

That's what this whole witch hunt was about. To get rid of DeLay and yet again, the snakes have slithered out their way.

I agree. That's what all this was about. The left made no bones about the fact they loathed The Hammer.

I agree.

The Abramoff is much, much worse than Earle's witch hunt. The fact that Duke Cunningham wore a wire...

I'm afraid that this will be devastating, too.

"The problem is that Graham is not due for re-election until 2008 and I think McCaine is not due until 2010."

Graham currently has a 56% approve/30% disapprove rating in South Carolina. McCain is at 67% approve/28% disapprove in Arizona. The electorate tends to hate Congress but love their individual representatives. That's why the incumbent reelection rate is so high regardless of party.
On the whole, RINOs are extremely popular in their home states and next to impossible to defeat. That's how they can remain RINOs.

"Why do they let the rats get away with doing this crap to them day in and day out?"

I too, would like to know the answer to that. I am just so angry at this point!! How many good men does this make they have succeeded in taking down, even if only temporarily? Is this why we took on and won the cold war? Only to fight this communism here, in our own country? Sorry, I am just so sick of hypocrites being in our government, who don't do their jobs at all, whose ONLY mission is to take down the other part. When what they were elected to do is to represent their constituents and HELP run the country, not take down the road of communism!

Every day it gets harder and harder to tell the two parties apart on many issues. Looks like the only thing they are good at anymore is spending our money and fighting like little petulant girls between themselves.

Absolutely true! Whenever I get royally steamed up over the Dims, libs, left-wingers & leftie mass media, I get equally PO'd over the cowardly Repukes as they either pander endlessly to the Dims or fail to respond at all to treasonous remarks or the growth of pork barrel spending or the assult on Christianity. President Bush & the other Repuke leaders are classic in the failure to stand firm on conservative principles & values.

Can anyone explain to me where the invisible line between "lobbying" and bribing is? Yeah, I know. If a Republican is involved it is bribing, but if a Democrat is involved, it is just lobbying.
