SCOFla...Scofflaw; they're just as warped as they were in their 2000 election rulings. They're a worms nest of diversity, political correctness and socialist ideology. They want to preserve education as an enterprise reserved for the State (upper case intended).

Look at the strings with the GI bill. I'm not saying it isn't a good program. You can go where you want but there are regulations once you get there.

Such as a.) accredited school, b.) maintain passing grades, c.) sufficient hours to make progress toward a degree.

All quite reasonable regulations, given that the program has a specific purpose in mind.

Similarly, these would constitute reasonable regulations within a voucher program.

That was my point about the ACLU. I am undecided about this verdict since the ACLU is sided against the vouchers. This may be why I confused you. I think they might be against vouchers because it would be MORE DIFFICULT for the govt/left groups to control private education if the vouchers are issued. Also, public school money is based on attendance, correct? More students leaving means less money for public schools. IMO these are the primary issues of the ACLU and NEA fighting vouchers. The ACLU and NEA control the US Dept of Ed...and state teacher unions control the state Depts of Ed. That being said, IMO if vouchers were passed, it would not take long before the govt/and/or left organizations WOULD make every attempt to mandate and control private education similar to public education when so many would bail from public schools. I just believe for my family, I want a school that does not present a left twist to my children. ACLU and NEA=left. Which currently means Public education. Making any more sense? If my paragraphs do not show on this post, sorry. They do appear when I type, but not when I post. Anyone have any suggestions?

Oh let me correct myself again. I may have caused confusion again! I had a public school education).
When I said "that means public education", I meant in relation to ACLU/NEA=left. I do not use public education for my child, and that is why. I had too many battles with our local system before pulling mine out. My research led me directly to the ACLU and state teachers' union.

The main reason they're forced to sacrifice for a good education for their children is because they're forced to pay for the crappy government schools as well as the Catholic school.

And if a Church wants to do nothing but preach? I see no reason to force them to lose their status. The reason behind your thinking is obvious. You simply don't like Churchs.

Here is a simple, polite question. Where are you conservative? In the small time I've been here, I've seen you opposing the death penalty, advocating against school vouchers and now opposing Churchs having tax-exempt status. I'm just curious.
