"...especially considering that 30% of the citys population are Master and Ph.D holders."
Big deal. I bet 30% of American communists also hold Masters of PHDs.

What's a fab? A fabrication facility - manufacturing integrated circuits (chips) for computers.

Escaping from the EPA and trial lawyers here in the USA. Hard to be competative here when your paying protection money.

in 15 years, the entire US semiconductor industry will have gone offshore.
To: Voltage
they want cheap labor, and the ability to pollute, while still retaining free un-tariffed access to first world markets for their products.

15 years from now, DoD is going to have to figure out a way to maintain some portion of the semi industry as a "cottage industry" inside the US - if they want to be able to make weapons without having to source the components from china and other pacific rim hellholes that are not great friends of the USA.

"Ho Chi Minh City, being the economic center of Vietnam is a prime choice for Intel, especially considering that 30% of the citys population are Master and Ph.D holders." Just goes to show you that communists are still world class liars.
