"I guess they want them to still be awake at half time." Hey I think that...never mind I forgot what I was going to say.

must attend up to five rehearsals that could last seven hours eachHilarious! 35 hours of 'practice' to stand in a crowd and listen to the Stoners?

I'm only 34, and I couldn't imagine doing what they are requiring of these "volunteers". They expect most 45 year olds to be able to? I guess if they are in good physical shape...Hmmmm....
To: BenLurkin
Aren't they afraid of an "under 45" wardrobe malfunction??? Another tit for tat?

I read somewhere they also just set a record on their most recent tour for raking in more money than any other band/act ever.

"Mick Jagger and his bandmates may be nearing senior citizenship,"
Nearing? Upon first seeing Keith Richards, most archeologists immediately identify him as coming from the pre-cambrian era.

To: BenLurkin
They do that so the transfusions take hold quicker for the band. Over 45 the blood is tired.

Aren't they afraid of an "under 45" wardrobe malfunction??? It seems they are much more afraid of an "over 45" wardrobe malfunction.

One has to wonder if there are 2,000 people in Detroit who are under 45 and not strung out on crack and booze.

Mick Jagger and his bandmates may be nearing senior citizenship, but Super Bowl planners only want people 45 and younger to take the field during the Rolling Stones' halftime show. LOL! Watching Keith on stage is always fun. And Mick's chicken dance alone is worth the price of admission.

I miss the days of marching bands and "the Punt, Pass, and Kick" contest. And the Prudential college scoreboard. Wake Forest 17, Ball State 12.
Can't say I miss those days. But most recent halftime shows haven't been an improvement.
