Entire opening monologue was a rant against journalism:
- they don't even care about the news
- they take every story as an opportunity to preach
- they claim to be mere conduits of objective fact
- they really are just propagandists.
- they will use some pretext to distract from the fact that they got the story on the survival of the miners exactly wrong.
- they pay minimal attention when the economy is good under Bush; after trashing the Bush economy as long as they could.
- they ignore big drops in the price of gasoline, only to report doom and gloom if the price goes back up by 3 cents.

Perhaps you need to check some past FReepathon threads.

But nothing happened to him, right. He's still drawing a paycheck after being responsible for setting off riots that got people killed.

Sorry tactical error on my part. Should of made it clear right up front that the point is to keep the Democrats role in this front and center since they are spining as hard as they can that this is a "GOP Scandal".

That list is good, but you know it will never be reported to Joe 6-pack.
I would like to see the list of Republicans as well.
Rush is going nuts today and it is sad to hear, cause this sounds like the Repubs will go down very hard this year including Bush since this will be story #1 for the next 9 months.
Why can't these politicians just keep their noses clean when it comes to campaign contributions. Maybe a illegal contributions should be made into a Capital offense with public hanging the sentence.
Though there should be NO restrictions on how much $$$ anyone wants to give to whom ever they want.

It's simple, they are not content to be journalists anymore, they want to be ROCK STARS.
Have you heard the whining about the disparity in pay between journalists and the people they interview....typical jealousy.

I heard it theorized that about 90% of the current Congress has gotten money from Abramhoff.

If there is a real investigation, the Dems are gonna suffer just as much. Remember, they are morally bankrupt to start with.
At least most Republicans start out honest.
