Liberals and leftists suffer from grandiosity, paranoia, and depression.

As long as they think we're nuts why can't we bring back the stake and burn them for witchcraft, heresy, and blasphemy ? They'd be convinced they are right and the rest of society could get back to normal.

"Teaching children to read was a perversion and high literacy rates bred the sustaining force behind individualism." (John Dewey, Father of Progressive Education)
I've changed my personal email tag-line to the above. It'll be fingernails-across-a-chalkboard to my liberal acquaintances.

The Patrick Henry quote is very difficult to nail down, but it was apparently uttered in 1765, not 1775; and if so, one has to question which 'nation' Henry was referring to. Ed Brayton has gone so far as to claim the quote was fabricated. I won't go that far, but I would like an original citation. Please post one.

Moral Absolutes Ping.
Another article guaranteed to generate debate. I haven't read it yet - been seriously swamped lately - but will later today.
I'm pretty sure I'll agree with a lot of it just by the title.
