It's going to be tough.
It will be dark (7:30) at the end of the game when we finally put the Bengals to sleep.

That current 3 point "spread" does not indicate to anyone in the know what the bookies think about which team is the better team.
The spread is there ONLY to make the betting even on both sides.
This spread, even though I am a lifetime Steeler fan, is just a mechanism to get bettors to put their money down on the Bengals.

Anybody know what Duce Staley's situation is? I haven't seen him in the last 3 or 4 box scores. Hurt? Inactive? Released?

Steelers should have beaten Dallas back in 1996 SB - Neil O'Donnell? What a joke.Looked a lot like he threw that game........... with those two bizarre interceptions. But, maybe just miscommunications.

Very, very true. Being on the road will bring this team together like the bomb shelter mentality. They'll be even closer.

The Steelers offense is at best average. They might beat the Bengals but against the Broncos and or Cllts they will be toast.Dream on.

They played the Detroit Lions. One playoff win since 1963. Detroit sucks bigtime (and I am a Detroiter).

Myron Cope and his "terrible towel"!!! I was listening to KDKA the very day he came up with that idea, too.

Miami has remarkable bad luck. They have to have the record for the number of winning seasons without a playoff berth in the new format. They seem to lose the tiebreaker every year.
And never let a New England fan forget that this whole run began by the first known application of the tuck rule. Ever. In the history of the universe.
There is no truth to the rumor that when the rule was found in the rule book, that it was in pencil in Belichick's handwriting.

Actually if you look at the footage from the game you can clearly see that the rookie receiver didn't read the coverage and instead of doing a button hook, he ran past the corner. In both cases the ball was in the air before he passed the DB. If the receiver does the right thing they are both easy receptions. Those were not Neil's fault.
