The Liberals will say anything to win, but won't punish criminals. Maybe he should have Karla Homolka campaign with
him. Heck, Paul Bernardo might get a furlough to appear at a Martin campaign rally.

Let Canada put up a border fence. I'm cool with that.

Stopping crime is not Martin's priority. His real goal is to disarm the population. His justification to get the guns is the usual lie that disarming the good guys will lower crime. Shame on the Canadian people for not questioning, rejecting, and revolting against the lie and the liar. I once gave them more credit. Canada will have only the crime rate the people tolerate, it's that simple. They vote. They CAN fix it.

this most recent "crime" blamed on the us is nothing more than some immigrant jamaicans fighting over drugs and turf, they are conducting business as if they were at home. 75 % of their gun crime is by these people, a product of the open door immigration policy that they use to buy votes.

i maintain that they should license all knives as more people are killed with knives than guns. YUP! what a make work project, serialize all knives & fingerprint all owners. should be able to do it all on a 2 billion budget.

Ali Dirie and Yasin Mohamed

There's the problem right there.

All kidding aside, Canada needs to grow up and take responsibility for what goes on within its borders. Blaming the US for everything is like a two year-old blaming the boogie monster.

CNN’s article mentions John Thomspon, a security analyst at Toronto’s Mackenzie Insitute near the end who says “the number of guns smuggled from the United States is a problem, but Canada has a gang problem—not a gun problem—and Canada should stop pointing the finger at the United States.”
