Your weird rant about whether Central America is latin or not is interesting, but they all have duly elected governments with free elections and most certainly qualify as democracies as America defines them.

Whether they're socialist isn't a defining term of democracy. France is socialist. So is England. They're democracies.

And I'm not saying that we should open our borders to their citizens to come as they please. We shouldn't. I made the observation that we shouldn't tell them to jump into the Castro/Chavez orbit simply because one politician shoots off his mouth.

We have plenty of our own politicians who say stuff at least as stupid as the Guatamalen VP on a daily basis, and that's no reason why we should go commie.

And what this has to do with free trade is beyond me.
