I watched them the year Mel Gibson got an award for Braveheart.
I won't lie...I was watching for him (OK, and some of the dresses were really purdy too ;) )
"Spin" has nothing to do with it. Either the movie is attracting an audience or it isn't. Are you suggesting this movie won't attract liberals?
"No amount of Cinematography is going to turn
this pigs butt into a silky camisol."
Well said but never underestimate the taste of liberals, especially Oscar voters.
Oh, I have not doubt it will win at
'The 1st Annual (Everybody-Fully-Outta-Da-Closet)
Flaming Pervscer Awards Party.'
A night of blatent "in-your-face-deviance' to be
shoved into every viewers face that wastes any of
their time to watch this Monster Mash.
They will think of themselves as being "militantly
cool"...
What they will actually be doing is "showing their asses"
to a world wide audience....If ya know the expression...
And it won't make back its production cost (13 million).
Does the author suggest that only successful, box office hits are worthy of awards? Is he looking for quality, content or profit...or all of the above?
