Don't worry, it probably isn't. There are different cores that get downloaded to solve the problem at hand, and each has a different number of frames and complexity per frame.
My fastest machine is now working on a 600 point problem: 250 frames at about 20 minutes per frame. Machine #2 has a 121 pointer: 1000 frames at about 2.5 minutes a frame. The old dog in the house just got stuck with a 3750 frame problem that will take about 8 days to finish. ;-)
I've always been known as one who will screw up a curve...
With your help, Brock University will not overtake us in 2.8 months as they predict :)
We're only 5,700 points away from conquering Israel

I have a WU that won't upload, error in connecting with work server.
It's a 200 pointer and it would look nice next to my 2 600 pointers and others cranking away right now. Any solutions?
Is the network setup for this machine the same as the others? I've had occasional issues connecting and getting through, but it has always cleared within 5-10 minutes or so.
When an upload fails, the client keeps the results in your local queue and it will retry uploading at least every 6 hours. It will also try to get a new WU to process.
Check Stanford server status for specific server:

Thanks for the warm fuzzy. :O)
Just got off the phone, you will see some names that you don't recognize coming on in the next day or so.
The list of the "conquered" is pretty impressive!

Don't worry, I just wrote "AMF" on my WU...
I stole most of that tagline. :)
:O)

So far there have been 3-4 failed attempts while newer WU's have gone through. Settings are all identical, save machine ID.
It seems like Server 128 is down. Is that the one you try to connect to?
Please post your logfile - it'll be easier to figure out what's going on

Yes, there is a server down. Don't know which one, but just tried to d/l another client and could not connect.
On the bright side I just finsihed my first WU for 121 points!!!

Sometimes rebooting, and restarting the client, will clear up some of the weird "estimates"....
They all do that till at least half hour or so into the WU.
Done, but added a little bit to help them find us.
There is a very good joke in there, somewhere... :)
Yeah, we goof on it all the time, especially when we wear a GL tee shirt as we go into the scalehouse...:O)
Hey GD, you got mail, I need your help, please.
Thanks

How do you get a tagline to stick, or do you have to put it in every time? I don't see any options in the profile settings pages.
