I think these are actually pods from outer space that intend to take over peoples minds, and knowing the democratic mindset of LA, that shouldn't take a great expenditure of energy.
Invasion of the voting body snatchers
or Invasion on the NOPD body snatchers
yes that's where the missing officers went.

That is something that people down here have is a great sense of humor even when life has slapped the crap out of them. You ought to see some of the christmas decorations here this year. There's some really funny one's out there. My favorite is the decorated tree stumps that were too massive to be picked up and the decorated debris piles.

I have that problem with blonds all the time.

What's even worse is that I'm already a blond. I had this guy some time ago just really get after me for something. I had to write back and say that it was only a joke. It was pretty evident, but sometimes people get so caught up in things they don't know the difference.

If you can't have a sense of humor at those times, then you need to be slapped silly. Actually, I've had the crap knocked out of me a lot (it's why I stick to blackjack). I've learned that I just can't take myself seriously. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade and get the crap out there and do something.

Things are Alice in Wonderland messed up all over, aren't they. Here you are, a blond, who not only understands jokes, but can tell them too. ;^D

Well, that Cheshire cat got fresh the other day, Tweedledee and Tweedledum wouldn't weed the garden, and the rabbit was early. It's getting crazy around here. I'm not so sure I understand jokes, but I make feeble attempts at telling them in the hope that some will become as dimwitted as I am. :)

I'll give you seven days to think about that one. Actually, there are some real aces out there. Some are up the sleeve, but some like to stay down in the holes. Some know the right clubs to join. They have a full house every night.

This is something we can all enjoy.

An American tourist in London decides to skip his tour group and explore the
city on his own.

He wanders around, seeing the sights, and occasionally stopping at a
quaint pub to soak up the local culture, chat with the lads, and have a pint
of Guinness.

After a while, he finds himself in a very high class neighborhood.....big,
residences... no pubs, no stores, no restaurants, and worst of
all... NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS.

He really, really has to go, after all those Guinness's, he finds a
narrow side street, with high walls surrounding the adjacent buildings and
decides to use the wall to solve his problem.

As he is unzipping, he is tapped on the shoulder by a London bobby, who
says, "I say, sir, you simply cannot do that here, you know."

"I'm very sorry, officer," replies the American, "but I really, really
HAVE TO GO, and I just can't find a public restroom."

"Ah, yes," said the bobby..."Just follow me". He leads him to a back
"delivery alley", then along a wall to a gate, which he opens.
"In there," points the bobby. "Whiz away sir, anywhere you want."

The fellow enters and finds himself in the most beautiful garden he has
ever seen. Manicured grass lawns, statuary, fountains, sculptured hedges,
and huge beds of gorgeous flowers, all in perfect bloom.

Since he has the cop's blessing, he unburdens himself and is greatly
relieved.

As he goes back through the gate, he says to the bobby "That was really
decent of you... is that what you call "English Hospitality?"

"No sir" replies the bobby, "that is what we call the French Embassy"

I'm sure his comment was worded a little funnier than that though.

That's about the only kind I can do. Though if I get ticked a little, I bring out the sarcasm and the BS paragraphs.
