Some folks think every little inconvenience is actually an attack on their civil liberties. They actually weaken their legitimate arguments in defense of such things as their First and Second Ammendment protections when they claim every act by governement that inconveniences them is an attack on their 'rights.'

List, in detail and all specifics, every "liberty" you have lost due to the Patriot Act.

I am of the mind that I would rather fight them on my front porch than put up with any more of this intrusive BS You don't have a front porch, unless RV's come with front porches.

Oh sure. You would rather have Osama Bin Laden and a bunch of his honchos on your doorstep ready to cut off your head than fill out an extra form at the post office.
Hyperbole, thy name is elkfersupper.

I had to show 2 forms of ID, or 1 form and document my physical address with a utility bill just to renew the box.You think that was fun?
Just wait until your ATM card expires. They won't even deliver those to a PO Box anymore. It gets either gets sent to a physical address, or to the bank, where you have to "call" for it (and get ID'ed yet again).

"Bush will be president for only 3 more years. The war on terror will last a lot longer than that. Whether a democrat or republican is in office, the Patriot Act needs to be in force."
Let's just hope and pray that this country doesn't go totally STUPID and put a 'RAT into the White House again. We've already been given ample evidence that they support our enemies over our own national interests.

...he's just defending that God-given and Constitutionally protected right to a convenient PO Box. I think it's in the 17 1/2th Ammendment. LOL. A government supplied convenient PO Box.

Considering the amount of criminal fraud that P.O. Boxes are used for, renting a P.O. Box should never have been "simple" in the first place.

Even if your ATM card gets mailed directly to you, you still have to go to the bank to program your PIN.
