He hasn't got a snowball's chance of this being approved until the next time there is a Democrat in the White House. Even then, unless there's an out of the blue radical shift towards another hippie/anti-war movement between now and then it will be approval ratings suicide for the president that does it. Unless this guy becomes an ultra-super-mega-major campaign contributor, no president will jeopardize their goals and objecives by taking on that kind of political suicide.

It amazes me that you can pick up a rifle, join a terrorist group, try to kill American troops and only get a 20 year sentence. Didn't we used to execute people for this sort of thing?

I think that I might agree with Walker's release if he would agree to a frontal lobotomy. That way his daddy could take care of him as a vegetable rather than the taxpayer taking care of him as an animal......
The American people have lost the will to cull the heard when necessary. There are some actions that just cannot be tolerated. Taking up arms with an enemy that is sworn you the demise of you country should be one of them

I say take off -20 years of his sentence. (20 -(-20)) = 40 years. If he complains take another -20 years off his sentence. By then he will be 80 years old.
