This just made me sick... poor baby girl...
As usual, everybody is outraged about this especially egregious act of abuse. But in truth, the pattern is very, very common. Mom is a serial cohabiter, and the new boyfriend has a problem with the previous guy's kid. Next thing you know, he has exercised his power over that child--generally with the mother's help, since she can't bear to be without his sexual charisma. It's sick and evil, but it's commonplace.
And, wonder of wonders, FReepers generally have no problem with the underlying behavior. Just wait til a thread on cohabitation pops up. One after another will talk about how great it is . . . how judgmental are those who have a problem with it . . . and to hell with the kids anyhow.
