Former U.S. Senator Harold Ford (D), father of current U.S. Senator Harold Ford Jr., rushes to defend his sister, Ophelia Ford, who was elected to fill the State congressional seat vacated by their brother, John, when he was forced to resign, due to a criminal investigation into his activities.

Another case of Dems wanting to shift blame and avoid responsibility for their actions.

This is one big difference between us and them. Occasionally one of ours will commit vote fraud but nobody has to ask what will happen to them. If guilty, we want them punished to the fullest extent of the law, ASAP.

If a Democrat does it it almost expected and they don't think it's any big deal.

Hey, don't foist them on Tennessee. They belong to Memphis and to Memphis alone. They couldn't win out outside of Memphis, and they know it.

Just drift up the river a bit from New Orleans to find the 2nd most corrupt city on the Mississippi. Memphis' local government is a joke.

And honestly, I'm surprised they haven't found more. Perhaps the tip of the iceberg?

I hear one of the Harold Fords being interviewed frequently on Imus. This Harold, Jr. or Sr., is one of Imus' MANY favorite liberal wipes. And I mus says he's a registered Republican? laugh laugh!

Jeez. A demonrat political family that owns its own funeral home. They can create dead voting lists with ease. I'd be surprised if this isn't happening in Chicago and other notorious demonrat strongholds.

Looks like he's already hedging his bets:

Despite his own suspicions, Ford said he believes fraud may be limited to the ballots of the two dead voters. The other three ballot applications with similar handwriting likely involved a poll worker assisting illiterate voters, he said.

Looks like he knows very well who did it.

They expect their leaders to behave that way and when they do it is no freakin' big deal, so just mind your own business and bud out!

It's the OJ syndrome I guess.

Just let him keep talking. Sooner or later he'll just admit it. Guilty people always talk too much, constantly tweaking their alibi's

You obviously aren't familiar with the Ford family political machine in West Tennessee. Harold Sr. was acquitted of writing bad checks by a local jury, but the bank tellers who cashed the checks were convicted.

TBI involved. They should look at the state trooper fiasco also. Limited to Memphis? That's a laugh. The FBI sting got legislators from both ends of the state and now we have a governor in Nashville who appears to have taken bribes to promote state troopers. Corruption is all over our fair state. I have lived in both La. and Tn. They both are corrupt.

Whether DemonRat or a fake Republican, I want those who commit voter fraud caught and jailed, and I want voter fraud to be made much more difficult.
