Yes they have but you should be proud to know that try as they may the pu$$ification of the NEW CORPS will never happen, they can lock up the tool but the Marines deadliest weapon is always thinking!

Geez, I remember getting royally chewed out by a Gunnery Sgt for NOT having my weapon within arms reach once.

The article indicated that there had been no negligent discharges after mentioning that the participants are issued blank ammunition. I must be missing something.
