They used to call us to tell us that the backup failed because the tape drive isn't working.


It is hard to say what they expected us to do.

Mine has an "Off" switch...and I've never activated any forwarding or voicemail.

That is nice if you can do it. I don't ever do that but sometimes i forward directly to voice mail so I only get beeped if they leave a message and if they also are in my phone book.

Heaven forbid that they utilize the service contract by calling the vendor of the TLU and open a service ticket to get the tape drive replaced.
