Thanks for posting all those wonderful pictures of the Iraqi election. I am so proud to be an American today and especially proud of our military men and women.
To: Pippin
Hey pipster. Missed you this morning! Hope all is well with you!
To: Old Grumpy
The elections are the telling point of our being over there. They evidently are a smashing success, which no doubt infuriates the Bush haters. Makes my day.
Isn't this great! The poor libs are going nuts. Thanks for stopping in!
To: Kerretarded
Hey Reid, you got that stat wrong. Bush isn't 0-3, he is 3-0!
Like it! Also like you screen name. Thanks for stopping in!
To: The Mayor
Hi Rus. Forget to say "hey" this morning and thanks for another great meditation. BTW what ever happened with the election challenge????
To: dutchess
Wow! 20 people and Murphy's law. LOL! It will work out. Enjoy your company. :)

Oh, you poor thing! I wish I was there to help you out. I could at least help you decorate the tree. But, you know, it looks like everything is pretty much out of your hands, so you might as well just try to relax and take whatever comes. I know, that is easier said than done.
That really is awful about your soaked carpeting. There is never a good time for that to happen, but during Christmas has to be the worst.
7 inches of snow??? My goodness. Does it show any signs of stopping anytime soon?

Wonderful thread, dutchess. God bless our military and all those working for our freedom at home and abroad. God bless our nation. God bless all those who pray
John does tell it like it is doesn't he? And I agree 100% with your sentiments. Good to see you!

Awe...wish you could to. My cleaning lady (now dad's "caregiver" two extra days a week) did a lot of my decorating, polished the silver etc. and "knock on wood" if the roads are okay will be here tomorrow to help (she's 72, has been with me 18 years and has kind of adopted us all!
This is my second Christmas without mom (it was only two months last year and the whole thing was a "fog") BUT just realized I would be picking them up from the airport this morning...mom would be wrapping presents and going through lists of "stuff to do"...tomorrow we would shop. What a difference a year makes because I'm kind of smiling when I remember rather then having that spike in the heart pain I felt last year.
Thanks to you all sistahs and brotha's for your support this year! Now, I really need to sign off and get some work done.
Oh...and we have a huge circular driveway and someone just came in and plowed us out and left. We have no idea who!!!! BrothaLouie...are you in the neighborhood?????
To: dutchess
It was fun doing it. Great things happened over there today, although the media will do what they can to water it down.
al-Qaeda lost everything today, and probably the whole war. The Sunnis told them to go take a flying leap. Not good for al-Qaeda, the mainstream media, and the DNC.

Kiss this, Zarqawi:
A local Iraqi man shows his inked finger after voting in Hayji, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom Dec. 15, 2005. Today the Iraqi citizens will vote to elect the first free, permanent parliamentary government that will lead this new democracy for the next four years. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
