Governor Curly is only doing this to draw up support for his run for re-election. He doesn't stand a chance, because he is only going to be a one-term governor. He lost my vote a long time ago.

The left despises and fears anything that the masses can turn to for comfort in time of crises, unless it is them. The must have and and have been seeking for decades an absolute dependence of the people on government. Once they achieve this dependence their power will be assured. The worst nightmare of the libs are individuals who succeed on their own and by doing so prove the gov't better serves the people by simply getting out of the way.

You have no idea of my giddiness during my first election after moving to GA from CA. I ended up with a Republican governor, a Republican representative, and two Republican senators.
I called my parents in CA to gloat....just a tiny bit. :)

"Due to a politically correct staff brain-freeze, the press office erroneously used the word 'holiday tree' to describe the coniferous flora that the governor and first lady will light this Sunday.
It is, in fact, a Christmas tree.
The staffer responsible can be contacted at P.O. Box 432, Anchorage, Alaska, 99501."
YAY!!!
