"Simple Question on Iraq Dumbfounds Democrats"

Let's be clear: Iraq doesn't divide America; Iraq divides the Democrats.

Redeployment would mean they would stay in the region on the perimeters. If, by chance, there was a total collapse, as it relates to a peaking violence, they would be poised and ready. I'm trying to understand what they're saying. The US troops shouldn't be in Iraq for a while, 'camping' around but outside Iraq, and see how things go. If, which is more likely, the 'redeployment' leads to chaos, the troops will re-enter Iraq...
In other words, we'll give ground to the terrorists (to level the field), and later we'll re-invade Iraq. Brilliant strategy! /s

"camping' around but outside Iraq"
Just where would that be exactly - Iran? Syria? Turkey? What map are they looking at that would put us out but also in?

But when I asked Pelosi directly to comment on Hoyers remarks, she claimed to be ignorant of them, Pelosi is just plain ignorant!

So, are you supporting the Murtha resolution? WAXMAN: No, Id like to leave as soon as possible. We ought to get some kind of timetables in place. Its up to the Iraqis. This is their burden now and they ought to take some kind of responsibility.
I wish the Germans would step-up to the plate and figure out that they need to "take some kind of responsibility" for their defense. It's only been 60 years.

LOL...Jackson Lee - "Redeployment would mean they would stay in the region on the perimeters."
We can hide them somewhere in the desert so nobody will think we are there.

I agreee with you. Their "proposal" is to sit somewhere in the region, where I'd sure like to know, let the terroists regroup, kill a few thousand Iraqis and then we will what, come in and start over?
I mean do these people even listen to what they say? I know many of them are not all that bright but really this has got to be the dumbest "strategy" I have ever heard uttered out loud. They were better of with the first version of cut and run. I mean we may be considered cowards under that plan but not retards.

The current Democratic class, particularly it's so-called leadership, are not very bright and cannot be considered adult representation.

Hoyer said: I believe a precipitous withdrawal of American forces in Iraq could lead to disaster, spawning a civil war, fostering a haven for terrorists and damaging our nations security and credibility.
I don't think Nancy is confused, I think she is counting on this happening.
To: JeanS
If, by chance, there was a total collapse, as it relates to a peaking violence, they would be poised and ready. That is a completely insane argument. We should leave Iraq and then wait until it collapses into total choas, because then we'll be "poised" to help? Ugh.
To: JeanS
SCHULTZ: No. Our caucus decided staying the course is not the right thing to do. Were not going to withdraw, and were not going to set a timetable. The President needs to show us clear objectives. Are our troops 50% or 75% fully operational? We dont know. The President needs to demonstrate, needs to meet benchmarks.
This one is my favorite. You couldn't get a more shit-for-brains response than this if you tried.

Great post. I have never seen all of the dems replies together. If it was not so serious it would really be funny. They really are in panic mode if not now they will be soon.
