I think I am safely assuming the thieves were black. You are unsafe with that assumption. Hispanics and young whites also 'pimp their rides'.

I can tell you from first hand experience: it's a pain in the ass to clean those wire wheels.

Unnngh.
To: SIDENET
Actually, that shot makes the vehicle out to be tastefully redone.

What is is about Black Culutre that makes the bling, the ride, the show so important? I don't think that it's a black thing. I think it's a man thing.
Don't mess with a man's truck. Don't even *think* of touching a man's Harley. If a man has a high-end car, he'll probably look at it more lovingly than he does his wife.
Now which vehicle or how it's displayed is probably broken down along racial lines. I don't know any black guys who tenderly polish their Harley on the weekends, although I'm sure there are a few.

I'm not big on the spoke rims, but it looks to have new carpet and a blue top. Not bad.

If it is worth three times as much, sell it to someone who wants it, and buy something that you really want.

At least they are not sticking out 1.5ft from the body and two sizes too small in diameter.

"Not this time. Terry's ride had been pimped."
Well, if it were my car, the damages would be the cost to "un-pimp" it.

Oxford dictionary shows off new 'bling-bling'
"...Among the 187,000 definitions in the latest edition, published by Oxford University Press, there also is bevvy - British slang for a beer; head-case, referring to a person who exhibits irrational behavior; and bling-bling, a reference to elaborate jewelry and clothing and the appreciation of it."
