I heard Hugh assert Campbell would easily get 60% of the Orange County vote.
He got 45%
I remember when Hugh stated that Lungren would clean the floor with Davis back in 1998. He assured us.

To some degree yes. Mainly because Hewitt's smarminess has turned me off.

I want to tell Hugh the same thing: Stick with what you know. He likes to bad-mouth USC and saying they have a soft schedule. Whatever, Hugh.

My, the ambient noise in here is....underwhelming.

I worked on that Lungren campaign - big disappointment (except I got to meet Dan Quayle at the election night party).

We can't all have 50,000-watt radio stations, right?

No pots and pans, just the truth.

We can't all have 50,000-watt radio stations, right? Actually the net and streaming media over satellites makes high power "clear channel" stations basically obsolete.
If you think I'm envious of Mr. Hewitt, or somehow that his views supercede mine because he has a nice little radio show, well, again, you're entitled to your opinion.
But that doesn't make it true.

So, I'm sure it will come as a big shock to John & Ken that they are "basically obsolete" then - I still remember when they were banished to AM 790 - LOL
To: clawrence3
"I still remember when they were banished to AM 790"
Then KABC canned 'em.

Yeah - that was kinda funny too - for awhile there, it was like that "Where's Waldo" game trying to find them.

Did Hugh "Harriet" Hewitt back Campbell?
