In other news, paying 'scientists' to perform inane studies seems to breed more useless information.

A good portion of the 'studies' I've been seeing in the news lately have been shockingly stupid.

Tofu bake sales have no chance to break even.

Maybe we could try to get a government grant to do a study on how much government money is wasted on studies where the conclusion was obvious. Of course our conclusion will be obvious as well. TOO DARN MUCH!!! lol!

I'm going to do a study showing that unburned calories lead to weight gain. I think I need about $200,000 to do the study. Who wants to pony up the money?

Lead author Martha Kubik, an associate professor at the University of Minnesota, acknowledged her research doesn't prove that such food practices contribute to adolescent obesity, but there does seem to be a connection...and just how much $$$ did this study cost? Perhaps Ms. Kubik could do another study to find away to do stupid things without costing the school money

I'm thinking there's some good money to be made doing studies. I must be in the wrong business.
