"the Los Angeles Times from cutting 85 newsroom positions."
This is a good start. Now if the LAT would just cut ALL positions.
This is truly funny stuff!! Liberals go wild!! Obviously, they think they are ENTITLED to jobs, typical liberal thinking. They really don't understand why papers are losing readers and advertisers.
Red on red makes me feel all tingly inside.
When you're liberal, you get called that. But if you're conservative, you get called "extreme right wing" and such.
May I suggest the following Freeper petition?
We demand that all Trib writers and other Trib employees who have lost there jobs be hired by Wal-Mart.
Why doesn't George Soros just permanently put the staff of The Chicago
Tribune on a lifetime salary?
This is what happens when lefties radicalize too far.
They start to eat their own............LA Times, Hillary Clinton, Bob Woodward, ................
Not only are the Tired old Media dinosaurs trampling each other to get into the tar pits, now they're dragging the barking moonbats along with them!!
Thank You! You made my day a lot brighter.
MoveOn Protests Times, Tribune Co. Job Reductions
MoveOn.org has launched a petition drive to protest job reductions at the Los Angeles Times and three other Tribune Co. newspapers -- cutbacks that the liberal activist group said threaten the papers' ability to deliver "strong watchdog journalism."
Executives at the Los Angeles Times and Chicago Tribune -- the two biggest newspapers owned by Tribune Co...said they did not expect the petitions to save jobs ...
Publisher David Hiller said the reductions were similar to those being made at many other newspapers, including those owned by Knight Ridder Inc. and The New York Times Co.
"The necessity to makes these cuts is unfortunate, but it's the reality of the marketplace that we are in," ...
the campaign to prevent the job cuts at the Tribune newspapers is posted on the MoveOn.org Web site alongside two other postings -- one asking for contributions for advertisements ...

A lot of Moveon.org members have been put out of work with these job cuts...
Are they serious or is this a joke? If they're concerned they could use all the money they plan on spending and buy subscriptions to the paper and they wouldn't have to lay off as many lame reporters...but because they are Liberals and have no concept of how a business is run they'd rather blow a wad of cash just complaining about it instead of doing something about it.
Maybe if those people bought 10 copies of the paper everyday, there wouldn't need to be any layoffs.
