We...elected and re-elected the men and women who, year by year, Executive Order after Executive Order, Act by Act, disassembled the United States of America and the American Constitution. And now, the younger generations think of us as stupid fools.

Some truth here.

FYI

this reminds me of the Cuban middle class who backed Castro against an admittedly horrible regime...only to have all their property and wealth taken from them.....

He nails it...a large portion of it anyway.

Thing is, tho...Us boomers voted in the Gingrich Republicans and have watched them morph into bigger spenders than the dems ever were.

So we did the right thing and were betrayed. AND its not like you can easily "vote for the other guy" because the dumbles would be much worse!

You are voting for a quick slide into socialism or a slower slide into it.

Today’s younger generations are largely atheistic and disgusted with leadership, religion, and their lies.

Not really supported by the facts.

The nihilists get most of the press, but they are a small minority. The younger generation is actually more likely to be conservative and religious than their parents.

Only 15% of the people living in Colonial America
supported the Revolution for Freedom in 1776
and because of a fighting-love for God and Liberty
they were blessed with miracles and success.

We don't need everyone to keep Freedom.

But we DO need those 15% to be Brave and Diligent.

It's really up to US --- to keep Faith and Never Give Up.

Young people do care, just look at the big fashion these days, camouflage.

They understand WE were attacked and they don't share the same anti-war and anti-US sentiment of the hippie losers baby boomer generation.

Otherwise the kooky left would already have engineered huge traction from them in the form of protests.

Where are the protests? There aren't any.

The conservatives do. The liberals have been trying to end it for decades, and have largely succeeded.

"We elected the Socialist globalists into our nation’s most powerful positions, or to put it more honestly and plainly, we elected the Trilateral Commission, over and over and over again, to our economic and historic demise."

It would be nice if the author were just a little more specific here.

I blame the MSM whom for decades has lied to the American public peering into that box we call Television telling us the leftist anti-American point of view and for many of us we believed the media wouldn't lie to us.

With the accent of the new media we have learned that the Television and the newspapers do in fact lie to us. We have seen the light, and we will never go back.

The days of the leftist monopoly on the media and minds of the American public will never return again. Although we have seen the light the leftist media has not, and as their empire of media dominance continues to crumbled as print media and Television news broadcasts from the the Liberal perspective continue its serious decline into oblivion.

Yes, I can see the Shining City on the Hill as Ronald Reagan put it peering through the fog of the biased MSM once again as their veil of evil and deceit slowly recedes allowing the Sun to shine on a better tomorrow.

We're going to be alright, we have turned the corner, and we're not looking back anymore asking ourselves what we did wrong to the world but what we did right.

God Bless our President, George W Bush, our Troops, and the memory of Ronald Reagan, who I miss with every passing day for the guidance and love he had for America and his ability to instill those ideas in like me.

The boomers are the ones voting for politicians who give them more reduced price prescription drugs and bridges to nowhere. Most of the politicians voting for that are boomers themselves. I am the 2nd to last baby boomer (b. 1963) and I say "we suck".

Equally, and in many ways, the Greatest Gen and the Boomers sold their souls for appearances, credit, retirement, and in imitation of the elite.

That is a profound observation. The Socialists were welcomed, for their presence guaranteed the arrival of a monthly check.

No, they just want to see a Socialist America where everyone is "equal". And the IslamoFascists are "nice guys" because the US practices "diplomacy". And everyone has health care because America has "The Rich" and they can afford to pay for it. Heck, if we just dropped to our knees in front of France once in a while even the French would like us!

Television did something much worse than that: it made blue-collar Americans feel inferior if they couldn't achieve the lifestyles portrayed in its productions and advertising. That sense of national envy promulgated by TV empowered the socialist wing of the Democratic Party, and by redefining the "American Dream" led directly to the spiraling cycle of government and personal indebtedness we now face.

The death of MSM news is a good thing, but restoring the American culture of achievement is going to be much harder.

Thank you. 9/11 seemed to bring out the best in a lot of our younger people. Our family has had a lot more positive feedback from younger people than 30 year olds and up concerning having sons in the Military. The old granola folks are the ones who really give us a ton of grief.

Actually it began in earnest when the previous generation elected that piece of $h!t Franklin Delano Roosevelt. HE was a socialist at heart and began the dive into where we are today.

That's why the slide continues. They have us locked in with fears of "don't let the other guy win". The solution? Vote anit-incumbent for every office. Put party affiliations aside. After 2 or 3 election cycles of complete turnover of Congress, they'll realize they don't own our vote anymore, and start representing us instead of furthering their own personal wealth and power.
