I'd laugh if these people weren't deadly serious. Just look at the "Ark of Hope" picture that is included with Joe Klein's original release.

I'm glad Klein wrote a book about this because I had never heard of this Earth Charter rubbish before. It's hard to believe that schools are making kids study this crud. The globalists don't just control the UN and our courts -- evidently they've got the teachers unions in their back pocket, too.

Forget about getting the US out of the UN; the UN is already firmly ensconced in the US!

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not…....

He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

...Should the United Nation's 'Sacred Earth' Celebration Replace Christmas?...

No, but a pile of rubble should replace the UN.

How can the earth be "sacred" unless it was created by a supreme being? And if that's the case then the focus should be on Him.

"No, but a pile of rubble should replace the UN."

A smoking hole would be entirely appropriate.

More proof that the UN has a pagan agenda to turn back the clock thousands of years on human rights.

World government is coming, and it will look a lot like the EU, with elected representatives as titular leaders but with bureaucrats actually having all the power. I hope I'm dead by then.

A smoking hole in which to bury that steaming pile.

If it's a feeble as the EU, then it will only last a couple of weeks.

The United Nations should be sent packing and should be replaced by the Unified Nations, composed of nations that, at the end of the day, actually matter. Something along the lines of a "Global 911" would be nice. The subtle name difference should save on reordering letterhead and whatnot.

One would think so. But there is truly nothing new under the sun, and it's the age-old problem of idolatry rearing its head. St. Paul hit the nail on the head in Romans 1, and that's a watershed text for our times.

Didn't the Israelites do the same thing with a golden calf? If memory serves, the Almighty was not happy. Perhaps He'll get back into th smiting business to handle the UN?
